    Habit/Size up to 65 feet tall
    Germination Stratify (warm) 30 days, then stratify (cold) for 90-120 days. Scarification aids in germination.
    Requirements Tolerant of most soil types and pH levels and can grow in highly alkaline soils. Requires full sun. Medium water needs.

    Saving Seeds/Propagation Juniperus virginiana is dioecious (each flower is either male or female, but only one sex exists per plant). It is not self-fertile so both male and female plants must be grown together for harvesting seeds.
