    Zizia aurea is a native flowing plant with many uses producing yellow flowers from spring to early summer. It's an important plant for many pollinators, easily self seeds, and tolerates a wide range of soil types. Not to be confused with wild parsnip (Pastinaca sativa) which is an invasive species in many areas.
