    Also known as kousa, kousa dogwood, Chinese dogwood, Korean dogwood, and Japanese dogwood. Synonyms include Benthamia kousa, Cynoxylon kousa, and Dendrobenthamia japonica. Perennial in USDA zones 5-8.


    Habit/Size up to 30 feet tall
    Germination Direct sow in fall or stratifiy (cold/moist) for 90-120 days. Sow 3/8 in. deep.
    Requirements Tolerates most soil types and pH levels. Prefers moist soil and full sun, but can grow in partial shade. Medium water needs.
